You’re welcome, Don Juan! 🙂
Are you quite sure you don’t want to become an author with full rights and privileges for starting arguments?
MiA adds: Every time someone double posts, if I catch it, I trash one. All of us but one are following on a comments thread and the double posting is annoying. The “one” should learn to use this site.
Every time someone posts without a category (uncategorized), I jam it into one, if I catch it. KW used to do it for us, and sometimes Lulu did. Brent, look at the categories list, click the Most Used tab, and you will be surprised to find Morning Report as the second most used.
Now we wait for WMR to make his speech. If any of you watch it, please report in the comments.

Very, very early comment on the convention: whether or not there is a diversity of gender and color in the attendees or the politicians at the podium, there is absolutely none there with the invocation. One of the most exclusively Christian–in your face and you’re wrong if you’re not a Christian–invocations I’ve heard at a public gathering in years.

I used to run up Ponus Ridge a lot and once you got past Wahackame, there were quite a few vacant new constructions and then there would be morel along Laurel Reservoir.
But lets face it, New Canaan doesn’t have the easy commute to the city that Greenwich has, so it is probably more vulnerable. And, you can’t get cell service. Whats up with that?

I know the ones you are talking about up past Wahackme. Really big houses built right near the end. There’s one oversized house on Ponus near Frogtown that has been on the market for years and seems like it will never sell. But there aren’t nearly as many signs up as previously. My cul-de-sac (off of south Ponus) has 14 houses on it, and at one point 6 were on the market. They all turned over 1-2 years ago, and things seem stable now. But the crazy-high end will never come back.

Just to throw my Michigan 2 cents in on the real estate: At least 4 houses have sold within a few blocks of mine in the last month. There are far fewer monster houses for sale on Lakeshore drive in Grosse Pointe, too. One even sold earlier this month. So good news on the Michigan real estate front.

Finally, is Mitt Romney a “warmonger”, and if so, how do you know?
