It’s over

I was 14 the last time the Pirates had a winning season. What’s weird about it is a bunch is I found my old Pirates hats in a box this past weekend when I was getting my glove out to have a catch with the little guy. Who is not, apparently, going to be a lefty. My dreams of raising a LOOGY* are over.

*Left-handed one out guy.

    I hate it when my team has such a poor showing. We actually rode the train into Anaheim on a Friday nite for a game a month or so ago. It was a horrible loss and I’ve been watching the Dodgers ever since. Go Blue…………….. I’m more fickle than I realized.

    Lefty’s rule……………one of our kids is but she’s not the athletic one.
