I was in the early 90s quake. My ship had just pulled into Treasure Island (under the Bay Bridge) and we were having dinner in the wardroom when it hit. Initially, we though something was wrong with the ship, like maybe a bearing went bad or something. We then looked outside and saw that the entire pier was moving. Freaky.
