Look at it this way: Germany is Princeton, Canada is Harvard, Sweden is Stanford, and the USA is Yale.

I’d say the US is more like UNLV.
During the Tarkanian years.

That may have been the best of the post UCLA teams.

I’d say it was U of A during the Lute yeats, say 85 to 97.

Could be that AZ era, or perhaps KY under Calipari, or Duke, but I just meant that one Larry Johnson-Stacy Augmon team.

Considering he trolled the prisons for his players, it works. Second chances and redemption and all.
I tell you, those U of A v UNLV games were wild and intense, I’m not sure east coasters really got it. Lute and Tarkanian HATED each other.

I’d compare the US to the Yankees. Everyone professes to hate them but secretly would be thrilled to become a part of the organization.
The UK is like UCLA. They totally dominated for a time and set a standard that still exists, but in a distant past and a much smaller, less competitive world.
Canada is like the Mets. Insecure about their own success given that it pales in comparison to their close neighbor. A huge chip on its shoulder.
Germany is like the Patriots. Lots of success, but in a cold, unlikable, and at times totally evil way.

I want this guy as my lawyer!
Tumult erupted in the courtroom after the verdicts were read when an attorney for group leader Ammon Bundy demanded his client be immediately released, repeatedly yelling at the judge. U.S. marshals tackled attorney Marcus Mumford to the ground, used a stun gun on him several times and arrested him.
Sounds like the Feds were a little pissy about the verdict.
