Apropos of nothing:When we were young, my father tried to teach us how to solve the Jumble puzzles in the Chicago Tribune. I was the only one of his spawn to take an interest. As a reult, many of our 'watcha up to?' conversations involved solving newspaper puzzles. He prided himself on doing them in pen.The other day I got an overstuffed envelope from my stepmother. It contained all the puzzles from the newspaper dated the day he died, completely and accurately filled out in pen. Her attached note indicated he had done them all about two hours before he stopped breathing. It was a perfect gift.

Very nice MsJS………I love stories like that. It reminds me of my father's diary which he said he couldn't find shortly before his death and then I found it among his personal belongings with my name on it. It just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy and loved doesn't it?KevinI agree we could use a few more posters and commenters. Like you, I'm sort of having a block of some sort………mostly because life has gotten very complicated here recently, but I'll try harder to at least put up an occasional post and try to comment more often. The Libertarians/Conservatives are running away with the place so I need to get busy……lol.
