All….I added a new list in the sidebar, below the news links, called Sites To Visit In Moderation. It is just meant to be a list of links to sites that you often visit or link to, to make it easier to navigate to them. The first entry I’ve put in is to The Plum Line. (I’ve also added National Review, since I know how much you all visit there.)You can add a new entry easily by simply clicking on the wrench/screwdriver graphic to the right of it. A window will pop up, and you can just enter the site URL in the URL box, label it with a name, and then save.

thanks, scott. I like this. Just to test it out I added TPMDC. But the list is unsorted and apparently adds new entries to the top of the list rather than bottom. So PL will always be at the bottom of the list since entered first. I would really like it to be at the top of the list no matter what. Ideas? Add a "1" before PL and then sort alphabetically?

Yup…that seems to work.

Cool! It works – I added Balloon Juice. Nice addition to the site, Scott.

I added Hot Air but now PL is second. Should I delete it?

troll, I fixed it.

Ok, seemed to "right" itself. (See what I did there?)

What'd ya do Okie?

I changed it to sort alphabetically.

Oh, ok, is that some sort of new tangled way to sort? What'd ya call it? Alphabetical? I've seen these kind of things come and go. It'll never last. Remember the Dewey Decimal System? Case closed.

Apropos of absolutely nothing at all, I just saw an ad (for Jenny Craig) with Carrie Fisher in it. What in the world has happened to her? Holy cow.

There you go, shrink. I added the good stuff.

@Scott: are you talking about her weight loss or her new face?

Shrink, I was gonna link Ace but I thought it'd be too much for some to handle. At least this early in the blog. Moderation (especially in the comments) it is not.

Her new face. Not quite the Carrie Fisher I remember in chains and a bikini next to Jaba the Hut. Wow.

What happened to Carrie Fisher? 30-odd years and a great deal of alcohol.

I added No Agenda. Cant tell you how much I love that podcast. My history can beat up your politics is next.

Scott, saw a report that Merkel was gonna publicly ask the U.S. for a trillion dollar backstop to keep the the game going in Europe. Can't find the article anymore but I was wondering if you've heard that rumor?

I'm sure alcohol/drugs and age played a part, but she's definitely had some facial work done.

Interesting assertion frequently made on No Agenda: Bill O'Rielly is an active Democrat and Fox News is a false flag organization run by the Democrats. You can't make this stuff up!

I added "the Economist" and "Baseline Scenario" [which is Simon Johnson's and James Kwak's baby]. Lms, now you don't have to. You were the one who pointed me to it in the first place, so thanks.

Carrie Fisher, that is…..not Angela Merkel.

Does Merkel want the Horns in the PAC, the Big Ten, the ACC, or Independent after the XII implodes, TMW?

I bet even she's upset about the Longhorn Network, Mark. 🙂

If she's smart, she'll favor the WAC for the Horns. But that's asking a lot from her.

Wow, I like how you've decorated the place in my absence. Good links everyone, well most of them anyway. No nakedcapitalism though or is that too much? Okie, I answered your email about the earlier post but can't find it now, is it gone already?

What have I missed? I've either been in afternoon meetings or working every day this week with Hospice so I'm having trouble keeping up. I'm looking forward to posting something but haven't even read a blog, newspaper or a headline in three days. I'll get there. I have checked into the plumline a couple of times but haven't even clicked a link. Are we doing okay here?

Scott, some people like my jokes, they do, so just assume when I say a word like "fiat" and what I said seems stupid, there might be a joke there. Lame, but a joke nevertheless. I try to be really serious when I am serious.People who play with that boundary piss me off. They say something rude or worse and say, "what? it's a joke? sorry you have no sense of humor, lighten up." I don't want to be that person, so if I am pushing the line on funny, ha ha and not funny, I can hear that. Say something. I know you will.

Oh good sue. Hope you're feeling better. It's a good thing Kevin came to our rescue with this blog idea, I'd still be reading the "what you need to know before getting started pages". And it looks like Okie and Scott are having a good time playing around also. Now all we need are more authors to write provocative posts and we'll be set.

shrink:For a thick guy like me you have to be really obvious. For example, this would have worked:"Calling it a fiat is funny, but it's not true."
