     odd interview. he spent 30 minutes talking to me about branding.

   testing waters. I have a goal of an interview (or at least a prospect lunch) per quarter.
   keeps me up to date on what the market is doing. and I like to pass along solid leads if possible.

    No, it’s actually quite easy. There’s even a website (Nolo that walks you through the steps. Pretty straightforward.

    Grants and papers. Writing, polishing, and preparing for submission according to journal requirements (and every god damned life sciences journal has its own requirements! I don’t know if Paul runs into this with physics journals, but if you get a manuscript turned down by one journal you can’t just turn around and submit to another–you have to completely reformat it sometimes. Argh!!!!!()
