yellojktNot much going on today other than basketball (sorry ’bout your ‘Horns, Mark!), gardening for some of us in warmer climes–although it hit 52 here yesterday afternoon, the overnight low was still 28–and weekend chores.
In addition to UT’s loss in the Big 12 conference championship last night, the Utes lost their final home gymnastics meet to Nebraska 197.6 – 197.45; Nebraska put on a hell of a show, because they only had seven active gymnasts for the meet and five of their athletes went all around. Now those are some tough chicks!
Last, I thought this was actually pretty good:

NOTE: And why, oh why, did I schedule a hair appointment for 12:15 on a day when MSU is going to start playing at 11:40 local????

My sister went to MSU, PhD at UNC-CH, her daughter went to UT. Sis and bro-in-law live in Durham. My niece has taken a job near Lawrence. NCAA’s are accompanied by all caps emails in my family.

Its about 60 here now ; had kids at park this AM. boy won’t go down for a nap right now, Grrr. Could still hit 70 today, a good night for a buddy’s 40th. Probably a bonfire, various grilled meats & a keg o’ beer.
Its more like April than March.

Don’t have a way to record it, Mark, since I don’t have TV. . . and my hairdresser wouldn’t know the difference between and basketball and a baseball–but it turned out OK anyway. 🙂
Sounds like a gorgeous day in MN, bsimon! It’s too nice to stay inside here now that I know the game result, so I’m going to take the dogs and go for a hike in the hills. Catch you all later!
