So I guess tomorrow's the Big Day to move your money if you haven't already. We still have a LOC and our business account at one of the big four, but moved everything else to a credit union quite awhile ago, including some retirement cash. If I didn't have the accounts locked together as far as payments etc. online we would be completely separated from the majors. On September 29, Bank of America announced its now-defunct debit card fee. Since that time, according to the Credit Union National Association, 650,000 Americans have moved their money to credit unions. That’s more in a little over a month than in all of 2010 combined. And that’s just credit unions, it doesn’t count community banks. And it doesn’t count what will happen tomorrow, on Bank Transfer Day… I’m sorry, I mean Chase Pride Day.scott, don't click on the link and read the rest of it……………no love lost between D Dayen and the banks. He followed the mortgage and foreclosure crisis very personally, as in up close and personal, so he's waaaaaaaaay anti-bank.
