No comment re circumcision but I would like to wish y’all a Happy New Year! I don’t do resolutions but I am looking forward to 2015.
I’m sure you’re wondering why of course……………………..Helllooooo Medicare! No more $900 insurance bills for this girl!
I’m also working towards a mini triathlon which has been a challenge for me, particularly the running, but I’m starting to get a handle on it. I don’t know why I let people talk me into this stuff however!
Anyway, everything else is just the usual around here, working, playing, and taking care of my sister. Walter and I are enjoying very good health (after a serious health scare for Walter last summer) so we’re obviously grateful for that and hoping to keep that going as long as possible.

I’m so sorry for you, Imsinca. Now that you’re dependent upon the government for free stuff, your liberty quotient went down at least 20 points. I welcome you to the moocher class (being a fed, I qualify) with open arms. 😉

It’s not getting free stuff from the government that drives one’s liberty quotient down. it’s being forced to provide the “free” stuff for someone else that does so.

Well Scott, as someone who has worked since she was 15 and never collected anything from the government until I reached SS age and will reach Medicare age, to my knowledge, I figure I’ve paid my dues and continue to pay them. I still work, pay taxes, contribute to SS and I’m just not that worried that some of the money I pay in goes back out to someone other than me. I seriously do not lose any sleep over it…………..ever.

I don’t begrudge you getting something out after years of paying in at all. Good on ya. I was just pointing out to FB that his “liberty quotient” was effected negatively on the front end, not the back end.
